It is hard to lose the ones we love. It is natural for us to grieve and weep at our loss.
We should be a comfort and support for one another.
It is not uncommon for us to reminisce or indulge in enjoyable recollections of the past times we had with them.
This is even more enjoyable when we know we will see them again in a better life.
The doctrines of the resurrection and the second coming of Christ, are a remedy against our fear of death and the sorrows we feel when we lose our loved ones who die in Christ.
God has promised that there will be a glorious resurrection of their bodies at Christ’s second coming.
We should have happiness in knowing that all the saints shall meet, and remain together for ever in Heaven with the Lord. To see Him, live with Him, and enjoy Him for ever.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, help us to realize the truth in Your Word. That in death and life, each day brings us one day closer to seeing You. That the glorious resurrection will occur. We will meet with the Lord, all the saints who have gone before us and live happily ever after in Heaven.
