We all go through things.
Friends and loved-ones are not always around to talk to us or help us out at that time.
Finding ourselves alone, with no one to talk too.
Those are the times that I remember and still do, think about songs that I heard, sang and still sing when I need some inspiration.
David even sang unto the Lord throughout Psalms. It was his refuge and strength.
I have songs reminding me that whatever I was going through or feeling at that moment, someone else has felt them too.
One song was, “You’ve Got A Friend” by Carol King.
May not have been what many would attribute to the Lord but I made the words reflect what I was feeling about Him.
Reflections that reminded me that I was not alone. The Lord was there all the time.
It went like this…
When I’m down, troubled and need some love and care.
When nothing is going right.
The sky above me is dark and cloudy.
I just close my eyes and think of the Lord, because He is always there.
There to brighten up even my darkest night.
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
Any time, day or night.
When I call I know He will be there.
Because He is always there.
My forever friend.
We all have a forever friend in Jesus and His Agape Love is always available.
Be grateful for your family, friends, and prayer warriors, but most of all, for the love of Christ, we have found while on this journey called “Life”.
A Word Of Prayer:
Lord we thank you for our families, friends and prayer warriors who are constantly keeping us in their thoughts and prayers. We try, but we know we cannot be there for each other all the time. Most of all, we thank you Lord for your love and being that “Forever Friend” that we can turn to, for any reason, no matter the season or time of day.
