An Anytime Prayer

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 16, 17 KJV

I was reading a devotional in which the subject detailed how much time we spend waiting on traffic lights to change or someone to answer a phone.

A letter writer responded and said, “Many Christians use these precious delays to pray.  You can pray for each person in the cars around you.  You can pray for the people who install and maintain the traffic lights.  Or you can ask God to teach you patience with all life’s interruptions.”

The Scriptures tells us that we should pray without ceasing.

We can pray about any and everything. Any time. Any where.

Prayer is the key weapon when we are battling against our spiritual foes.

It gives us the ability to rejoice in God.

Showing we are thankful for everything that God designed for our good.

Know that our prayers can even be instrumental in keeping someone else from defeat.

Everyday we should take every opportunity to pray to the Lord, even if we are waiting at a red light.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, let any interruption in our day become an opportunity for us to pray.  Knowing that You are always listening and answering all of them.  May they be instrumental in keeping any of us from defeat.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
