In Ecclesiastes 3, the Lord tells us there is a season for everything. A time to every purpose under the heavens. A time to be born and a time to die.
During the time that we have breath in our bodies, we should stand prepared to glorify Christ. To live a life according to His Word.
He is the provider for any and every thing we need. He abounds in more blessings than any one of us could possibly receive.
We just have to live for Christ, keep the faith and believe.
Knowing that when we do, we can face death with a different mentality than those who don’t. Facing it because we know that there is a greater hope awaiting us beyond the grave.
Death is a great loss to a carnal, worldly man, because he loses all his earthly comforts and all his hopes.
But to a true believers it is gain. It is the end of all our weaknesses and misery. It is the deliverance from all the evils of life, and allows us to possess all that is good.
Nothing can compare.
Who wouldn’t want to live in Christ and be with Him after knowing that the power of faith and of Divine grace, gives a better life after death?
All we have to do. Be willing to remain in the world as long as God has any work for us to do.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, there is a big difference in the way we look at life and death. There are some who believe and some who don’t. Some look at it as a hopeless ending and others a joyous beginning. May we choose to live in Christ and know that when we die an even more joyous life awaits us. Thank You for the happy ending.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
