Read: Matthew 25:37-43 / Psalms 82
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40 KJV
The time is now for all to acknowledge what the Father is telling us about our actions.
How we need to make sure that we are managing ourselves according to the Word.
We know that everyone may not read or listen to the Word as often as they should.
But there have been times when what was planted is still in them waiting to grow.
There are even songs that remind us of what the Lord has said.
We all need to listen and do things the right way.
There is a day of judgement still yet to come.
Asaph sang a song in Psalms 82 KJV.
His song was one of sharp disapproval.
It was regarding their failing to fulfill their God-given purpose.
They had been chosen of God to show the world how to live.
How they were to live right and judge justly.
But they were failing really badly when it came to doing this.
Instead of them taking measures to ensure the safety and security of the poor and fatherless, they chose to defend the unjust and show favor to the wicked (Psalm 82:2-3 KJV).
In Matthew 25:31-46 KJV, the Father is warning us about the judgment to come.
It is a judgement in which every man shall be sentenced to a state of everlasting happiness or misery.
The Savior will come, not just in the glory of the Father, but also in His own glory as our Mediator.
He will ask a series of questions regarding our lives.
How we have or have not lived according to the Word and the treating of each other.
“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40 KJV).
He will deal differently with those that are His and those that are not.
We want to be one of those that is His.
He has prepared a Kingdom for us.
Prepared in the greatness, wisdom, and power of the Father.
Purchased for us by the Savior when He sacrificed His life for us.
When we live according to His will, happiness will be ours for eternity.
So let us all keep working diligently for Him while we are waiting for His return.
Never waste the talents and resources He has given us.
Being faithful servants of the Lord (Matthew 25:23 KJV).
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help us to remember that all that we do is to be looked at. That it is in our best interest to follow the Word in all our ways. He has told us how to treat one another, especially those in need. Life and death, good and evil, the blessings and the curses are all set before us. May we choose Your way and live a life full of happiness. Reaping even greater happiness in the end. Thank You Father.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
