Read: Luke 18:18-30 / Matthew 8:5-10
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27 KJV
During our lifetime we will be faced with situations that are exceedingly difficult to deal with.
Tasks that we feel we are unable to do or perform.
We look at them as impossible assignments.
That is where faith must abound.
The foundation of our faith is written in the promises from God.
He will always be there for us.
Hebrews 11:1 KJV tells us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
All throughout the Gospel, Jesus talks about us having faith.
How He responds to those that have great faith.
In the Bible we see where a paralyzed man’s friends brough him to Jesus.
“Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee” Matthew 9:2-6 KJV).
There was even a time when a centurion asked Jesus to “speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed” (Matthew 8:8 KJV).
“When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel” (Matthew 8:9 KJV).
With the Lord age has no limit on the blessings He will give us.
Believers would also bring unto him infants, that He should touch them.
The disciple would try to send them away, but the Lord had other plans.
He told them, “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God” Luke 18:15-16 KJV).
The Lord has a place for children to be a blessing in the kingdom.
We may not see it, but He does.
He has a place for all of us.
When we have undying faith in God, we are standing on His Word that “things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27 KJV).
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that prayer is always in order. That our faith unlocks the many doors to the kingdom blessings we can receive from You. Help us to always remember that when we believe, all things are possible. It really is true in every area of our lives. Thank You for being the One that makes it happen in our lives.
