A Faith-filled Life Now – Even More Spectacular in Heaven

Read: Philippians 1:19-26

For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better. Philippians 1:23 KJV

With everything that is happening in the world today, one can only hope that things will get better.

For some it will, but unfortunately for some it will not.

The Bible warns us that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13 KJV).

That is why we need to stay rooted in the Word.

We are to “rejoice evermore and pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:16,17 KJV).

There are still so many souls who will come to know the Truth.

So, how do we manage to press forward?

We acknowledge and do as the Apostle Paul did.

While he was a prisoner in Rome, he wrote to the church of Philippi, offering them genuine hope in a broken world.

His desire was for those who were reading his letter to understand where he stood in his life.

He wrote, “I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better” (Philippians 1:23 KJV).

That although life in this world is often hard and painful, as a Christian living by faith, things will get better.

His letter is a constant reminder, we can face all manners of difficulties.

There will be decisions we must make.

Our choice should be to live for Christ.

Here to do His will.

There will be times when we want to call it quits, but we must press on.

Knowing that one day we will be with Him in an eternal home filled with joy and gladness.

That when we see the power of faith and Divine grace working in our lives, nothing we face can have the ability to cause us to sin.

That we are to remain steadfast.

That we will be with Him in an eternal home.

One where our crowns of glory and honor and His majesty will shine forever more.

So, no matter how hard things may seem, to see His face is to be our goal.

It is a far better goal.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, there will always be storms that rise in our lives. Things that try to pull us in all directions. To see Your face is the goal in our lives. That is why we vow to remain steadfast in the Word. Knowing that we can escape sin, temptation, sorrows, and death. Watching how the power of faith and Divine grace abound in our lives. It is a blessing when we make the right choice in following You.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
