Read: Lamentations 3:21-36 / Psalms 107:1-16
It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22,23 KJV
There is no doubt that there will be a time in our lives when we have a talk with the Lord.
A time when we faithfully cry out to Him about all the things that are causing us deep distress and misery.
Doing so, because we have faith in the mercy and grace He can bring to our lives.
That is what the prophet did.
He told Him all about the distress and temptation that he was facing and was raised above it.
An example that terrible things may occur in our lives but by prayer and the mercy of God they are not worse.
That God’s compassion for us does not fail.
They are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV).
Giving even more reasons to confirm our belief by singing one of the many songs that give witness to His great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
The Word and Bible based songs are always our source of great encouragement to live for Him.
No matter our need, we can always count on the Father’s love and faithfulness.
We should observe what He does good for us, as well as how He defeats those things that are against us.
We can speak of His goodness like the psalmist (Psalms 107:1-16 KJV).
Singing praises to His name.
Knowing that, He will always be there for us.
God’s compassions fail not.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that because of Your grace and mercy we are not consumed. Sin will not prevail in our lives as we live according to the Word. You are faithful in all You have told us. Great is Your faithfulness. Each morning, we can see mercy being displayed in our lives. Thank You for never abandoning us but always staying by our sides.
