Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. Psalms 123:2 KJV
We will always encounter someone who is skilled in doing or using something.
They have great knowledge and experience in a trade or profession.
Some are in a position where others work under their management.
Many treat those they work with with much respect and reward them for their service.
Unfortunately, some do not treat others in a manner pleasing to the Lord.
They try to use them and take advantage of their skills.
That is why the Lord had told us to look unto God in prayer.
He sees and handles everything.
We just must put our trust in Him.
He is the true Master over all areas of our lives.
Case in point, the writer of Psalms 123 was feeling distressed due to the enemies that was treating him with ridicule and contempt (Psalms 123:4 KJV).
Despite all he was going through he calmed his spirit.
He did it by looking to the Lord as a servant who trusts his Master.
No matter what we are going through, prayer is the key.
Asking Him to keep us in His hands of grace and mercy.
He will take care of us and guide us all the way.
No matter who is in charge.
