Sayings: The Really Spectacular, Outstanding Things He Has Done

Read: 1 Timothy 1:12-17

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15 KJV

“Sayings” play an important part in our lives.

They have great meaning.

There are sayings that impart knowledge.

Some provide an understanding.

They can even console and inspire others.

When you truly recognize what something means and how it benefits our lives it can have a great impact.

Today’s Scripture really “is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptations” (1 Timothy 1:15 KJV).

We truly need to realize the impact this saying can have on our lives.

Paul is reminding us “that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15 KJV).

That the Son of God came into the world, willingly and purposely to save sinners.

Our sins were fully atoned for when He died on the cross at Calvary.

When we put our trust in the Lord, the Father declares righteousness to us all.

That is what happens when we are covered by the blood.

Because of His forgiveness our sins are forgotten forever.

We have no reason to question His love and power to save us.

It is up to us to continue to live according to the Word.

Our desire should be one of honoring and trusting the Lord.

Giving Him glory for all He has done in, by, and for us.

Never forgetting that the Bible is filled with sayings.

The ones that make it possible to live the life God desired when Christ died on the cross to save us.

His stripes have made us whole.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, the saying that we hear regarding Your love for us is always worth telling. Always worth hearing. No one can question the love and power of Christ dying to save us. When we hear it there should always be a desire to trust in Him and live according to the Word. Thank You for Christ coming into this world to make it possible for our sins to be forgiven.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
