We all know that Thanksgiving Day has just passed.
It is great that we live in a time when there is a holiday where we give thanks for what we have accomplished in life.
But every day is a day of Thanksgiving.
It is a time when we forget about the problems we are facing.
It is a time when we must focus on the blessings we have received.
On the blessing we have yet to receive.
Rejoicing and praising is always in order.
The Psalmist even gives us an example of how we show how thankful we are.
He has invited us to “come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms” (Psalms 95:1-2 KJV).
No matter where we are we can sing praises of thanksgiving unto the Lord.
No matter the time of day, we can sing praises of thanksgiving unto the Lord.
Whenever we come into His presence, we must come with a heart of thanksgiving.
Every day when we think of His goodness, we have reason to give Him praise.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, to You is given all power. Both in heaven and earth. We praise You because You are the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Forever blessing us as we journey through life. We sing praises of thanksgiving to Your name. Telling all that we meet how great You are. Thank You for all that You do in our lives.
