Temptation comes in many forms.
It is the desire to do something, that is wrong or unwise.
Being tempted is not new to man.
The good news is that we don’t have to give into any temptations.
All because of the wonderful love of God. His sending Christ to die for us all.
The blessing came when Christ knew that He must suffer in our nature, how He must die in it, and still readily took it upon Himself to do it.
By doing so, He made a way for our deliverance from Satan’s bondage.
For the pardoning of our sins through faith.
Because He remembers His own sorrows and temptations, He is even more mindful of the trials we go through and is ready to help us.
He is ready and willing to assist those who are tempted and readily seek Him.
He is in every way qualified as He passed through the same temptations Himself but continued perfectly free from sin.
No soul that cries unto the Lord, with a sincere heart, will ever perish because of temptation.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we thank You for the sacrifice You made to save our souls from sin. Your love and forgiveness means so much to us. May we continue to walk in Your ways and yield not to the temptations of this world.
