It May Be Frightening, But Power, Wisdom, Love Prevails

Read: 2 Timothy 1:4-14

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

The reality of it all is that we all have placed so many limitations on our lives.

We have our moments of weakness.

It can be frightening.

Moments when we feel that if we try to take something a little further, we will fail.

The boundaries we set can always be expanded if we stand steadfast in the Word.

The Lord has a purpose for all our lives.

That we in no way should limit God’s power to work in and through us.

Witnessing the fact that we can conquer all the things that are trying to hold us down.

Showing others that He has “not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV).

That when the Lord has placed something in our hearts to achieve, He is there to help us accomplish it. No matter the situations we face.

We must trust Him to supply all our needs.

That is why Paul is always encouraging others to remember Christ and His redeeming powers.

A power of salvation that we all should desire.

Let Him shape our lives.

Guiding us each day.

Let us take the time to share the gifts He has bestowed on each of us.

We will never complete the goals He has set for our lives and reach new heights if we keep setting limits.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, there will always be times when we face a moment of fear and the many trials in life. Like the Apostle said, You are the only One we must trust our lives, our souls and all our external desires too. You are the only One who can deliver us from everything we face in life. Your guidance is never-ending and never fails. We will never reach new heights if we continue to limit our faith in You. We are thankful for Your love and guidance.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
