And there was war in heaven…. And the great dragon [the Devil/Satan] was cast out. Revelation 12:7-9 KJV
There are many in this world that want to shatter our belief in God.
Some view the things of Satan as a just way to exhibit a personal independence from God’s commands and control.
They desire not to admit that following the throne of God is the right way to live.
We all know that the Book of Revelation talks about the last days.
How “there was war in heaven…. And the great dragon [the Devil/Satan] was cast out” (Revelation 12:7-9 KJV).
That despite how much Satan tried it proved unsuccessful against the church.
Proving fatal to all his attempts.
But to this day, Satan is still waging a battle on our minds.
Still trying to turn us against the Word.
That is why the Father has told us to recognize Satan for what he is.
He is a liar and a father of lies (John 8:44 KJV).
His agenda is to take God’s Words and turn them around to cause us to believe something that is not true (Genesis 3:1-7 KJV).
All in an effort for him to gain control.
But we have the best defense.
When we hold firmly to the truth of God’s Word we defeat Satan at his game. (Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV).
We are putting on the whole armor of God, the helmet of salvation, while carrying the shield of faith.
The Father has told us that He is “not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV).
The choice is ours.
The Father is not going to force any of us to heed the Word.
He leaves that choice to each of us.
Be the one to take the right course and be the one victorious in this battle.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, there has always been a Spiritual Warfare in the world. Satan from the beginning of time has tried to turn Your people against You. Let us never forget that You created all things for our good. That You have always been there for us. Knowing that no matter what comes our way, we have the whole armor of God to protect us. Thank You the victory we see in our lives. For all the victories to come.
