Life Simplified – The Reason Why is Breathtaking and Uplifting

Read: 1 Peter 1:17-25 / Luke 22:39-44

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV

At times it seems like all we can see is the struggles we face.

Thoughts and memories of things from our past.

We dwell so much on our failures.

Wondering how long these thoughts are going to last.

That is when we must learn to rely on the Word.

Biblically, “redeemed” is defined as, “having been saved or delivered from sin or its consequences”.

All our worries and fears can be taken care of when we trust in the Lord.

Salvation and redemption are in His plan for each of us.

That’s why we must remember that we will never receive the redemption we need when we continue to dwell on the things of our past.

The Father has told us that the way to handle things is by “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” 1 Peter 5:7 KJV.

We are not to doubt God’s faithfulness in His promises.

All of us must be determined not to give way to continuous fear of His wrath from doing wrong.

But lean on the reverence of His holiness and what He desires for our lives.

As Cristians, we need to remember that the blood of Christ has redeemed us from the things of our past and set us free.

No future sins can overtake us when we keep standing on the Word and faithful in prayer.

Prayer is the key and faith unlocks the doors.

He did not die on the cross for us to remain in the bondage of sin.

He paid the highest price so we could live peaceful and prosperous lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that we need to stop trying to do things our way. You are always showing how much You truly care for us. That You desire the best for us. You showed it through the price paid when Jesus shed His blood for our sins. May we never forget how important it is for each of us to remain steadfast in the Word no matter the trials we may face. You are always there. You always know what is best for us. We could never make it without You. Thank You Savior for the price You paid for us to live a peaceful and prosperous life.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
