“Morning Lord”

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.  Psalm 5:3 KJV

The most encouraging part of prayer, and the most powerful plea in prayer, is when we look upon the Lord as our King and our God.

But do we begin each day in prayer also?

Our first thoughts when we wake to a new day should be directed to the Lord.

Thanking Him for keeping us through the night.

He has always been there for us, kept us through the night and He is still as ready to hear our prayers when the morning comes.

We should follow the practice of David, direct our prayers to God first thing in the morning.  Looking to Him for the strength we need to make it through the day.

We will receive a new supply of energy and blessings when we pray.

Want a wonderful way to start your day?  Pray.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, it is important that we recognize the need to start each day with You.  Prayer is the key and our faith in You is what unlocks the many doors that we encounter throughout the day.  May we praise morning, noon and night, because You are worthy.  Because You are always listening and answering prayers.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
