Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees. Job 4:4 KJV
Words of encouragement are something that all of us need.
They inspire us with courage, spirit, and hope.
They motivate us to continue a positive path.
When we attend church services, our Spiritual Leader speaks from the Word.
We find ourselves in the same position as Job.
What we hear are Words the Lord needs us to hear.
A Word that is meant to uphold us and keep us from falling. Words that are spoken to give us strength (Job 4:4).
Words that chasten and correct us.
There will be some who take offense to what is being said.
But a wise man who listens will be even wiser and a just man will increase in learning (Proverbs 9:9).
He knows it is done because God loves us and only wants the best for us,
Our Spiritual Leaders have devoted themselves to helping us achieve and receive all that God desires for us.
We need to take the time to express our love and respect for all they are doing.
It gets hard and they have their own battles, just like us, but they keep pressing on.
They know they have a call to their lives.
That despite all they are going through, they are determined to fulfill it.
One that shows us to look to the God of mercies for all our needs.
He did it for them and they will do it for us too.
We need to show appreciation to the fact that they are living testimonies and speak the Words we need to hear.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we appreciate the Spiritual Leaders You have called and speak the Words we need to hear. They have been through some of the same things we have, plus some. Let us continue to let them know that it means so much to us. That just like they are praying for us, we are praying for them. We all need the strength and guidance You provide in the Word.
