For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10 KJV
Not a day goes by that someone does not do something that is a blessing to another person’s life.
There will be times when that individual shows appreciation for what they are receiving.
There will be times when it may seem like it went in one ear and out the other.
Any position we find ourselves in we are to manifest ourselves in a way that shows we have the Lord on our side.
Those are the times we must remember that the Father is taking note of all we do.
Giving us even more of a reason to continue to do excellent work.
The Scriptures have told us that there will be battles we may fight.
That there will be different situations we may face.
Some will be good and some will be bad.
That we are to be cautious of those who rebel against the central teachings of what the Word teaches us.
To always be careful not to wound and terrify those who are weak in faith.
And how we are not to discourage those who have fallen.
We are to remain steadfast in all we do for Him.
As believers, we know how filling it is when we taste and drink of the Word.
That is why the author of Hebrews is reminding us of what we should do in the times of wanting to call it quits.
He has told us that with any and everything we do in faith and love; the day will come when we will be honored by God (Hebrews 6:10 KJV).
When we keep the Word of God in all things the greater the blessings we will receive.
Going forward, we must learn not to be discouraged or feel like nothing we do is appreciated.
Our Father will never forget anything that we do in our service to Him and others.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that there will be times when we feel all that we do is done in vain. There will be those who will not show their appreciation for what they receive. Help us to remember that in all our labor, it is done for Your glory. That You will always remember and reward us for what we have done.
