Never Too Old: Get Ready for Unbelievably, Astonishing Adventures

Read: Genesis 18:1-15

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Genesis 18:14 K

We all know that with age comes wisdom.

The longer we live, we still have time to be used of the Lord.

We never know how much good will come from the words we speak.

It might be something that someone needed to hear to confirm what the Lord has been telling them.

That is why we are never to feel like our age should keep us from spreading the Word.

From having a “Yes Spirit” towards what the Lord is telling us.

Sarah is an example of someone who felt she was too old to be used by God (Genesis 18:11 KJV).

Sher and her husband Abraham were up in age and felt they could not have children.

She even laughed at the thought of having a child.

But God saw otherwise and gave her a child in her old age. A child that became an ancestor of Jesus (Genesis 21:1-3; Matthew 1:2,17 KJV).

Like Abraham and Sarah, there are those of us who are up in age.

We have the feeling that we are too old to do certain things.

But we are never too old for God to use us.

The Spirit of God moves in our hearts.

He knows exactly what we can do.

We just must have a willing heart to do what He is asking.

Not letting anything make us question His Divine truth.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that there is nothing too hard for You. Anything that You ask of us, You will give us what we need to complete it. We are not to let sinful thoughts of denial and personal emotions get in the way. Divine truth will always be found in everything You say. You will use us at any age when we are willing to be used. We are willing. Use us Father as You choose.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
