Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. Romans 14:13 KJV
We never know what someone may be going through.
When someone is unhappy with their life, they are prone to want to criticize others.
They want to find fault in them and not see the faults in themselves.
Judgmental attitudes spring from pride and are offensive to the Lord.
Every Christian has different strengths, capacities, and practices.
No matter what they are, they should be looking, serving, and striving to be approving to Christ.
We are not to be the stumbling block that stands in the way of someone else or let them stand in our way.
Instead of pointing a critical finger at someone, we should be holding out a helping hand.
A helping hand that helps to lead and guide them.
Just like the Lord looked beyond our faults and saw our needs we should do the same for others.
Let every man search his own heart and life.
Remembering all they have gone through.
Judging and humbling himself and not be the one to judge and despise his brother.
Being the one that shows love and encouragement.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, may we take heed of things we say or do. Especially those things which may cause others to stumble or to fall. Remembering to look at our ways before looking at someone else. Let us only say those things the show love, our true concern and understanding.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
