In our everyday lives we try to protect ourselves by putting up walls of silence.
Our actions are sometimes criticizing or a way of rationalizing what we are doing.
We think we have a plan that will give us shelter or protection from hurt, danger or distress.
No one wants to be caught in an unsafe condition or be found in trouble.
It is a blessing to know that someone is looking out for us when there are signs of danger or trouble.
We just have to put ourselves in the right position to receive it.
We need to do as David did.
Instead of fighting his own battles, he discovered that God was the best defender to keep him safe.
He would continue to pray and praise God because he knew He was his refuge in the day of trouble.
That is what He does for us.
We should be praying and singing praises to Him also.
He is more than worthy of our best affections, praises, and services.
When we face an enemy, instead of trusting our own resources we need to depend on God.
He is our strong defender.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we can face many situations beyond what we have. The blessings we receive are because of all the resources You provide. We rejoice and praise You forever. Thank You for all that You have done and will do for us.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
