O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Romans 7:24 KJV
There is nothing unusual about having questions regarding our personality.
The differences we have in the way we think, feel, and behave.
Who we are, from whence we have come, and where we are going in life.
We have all had our moments; both good and bad.
So much so, that we wonder why the Lord of all the earth would care so much about us.
Why He is always there to catch us when we fall.
His eyes see all our sins and still looks at us with love.
The Apostle Paul acknowledged that he also had to deal with his many desires, impulses, and failures (Romans 7:7-25).
But he didn’t let these struggles keep him confused about who he was, who he belonged to and where his life was heading.
He accepted the Lord’s offer to redeem and remake him.
Delivering him from “this body of death” (Romans 7:24-25).
We can be delivered too.
For us to know the true meaning of life, we must serve the Lord and live for Him day by day.
Thanking Him for providing us with all the support and comfort we needed.
Knowing that there is nothing He would not do for us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know that we can be like flowers that quickly fade. Here today and gone tomorrow. We are thankful that You are there to catch us when we have doubts and about to fall. You always calm the storms with us. We are so glad that we are Yours. That we know who we are. Thank You for Your saving grace and delivering us.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
