Visions are our desires to see or do something.
They are the ability to think about or imagine the future with wisdom.
It is a way of planning for the future and seeing our ideas turned into reality.
We may not be able to see it to the end but can take pleasure in knowing that we at least saw it happening before we were called home to rest.
Moses had a vision of the promised land.
God had declared that he should not enter Canaan.
But the Lord also promised that Moses should have a view of it.
His vision was being fulfilled. He saw all the good land.
He may not be going to the promised land, but those whom he had saved would be.
Life often finds us looking at the visions we have. Let us continue to look to God because He is the one who can satisfy them.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, It is our desire to have all that we vision come true. That we die in faith, leave this world with cheerfulness and rest in the hope and beauty of Heaven.
