Recovering The Lost

And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. Luke 15:6 KJV

There are many situations that cause us concerns about the safety, well-being and whereabouts of our family members, friends and loved ones.

Especially when we know they have been going through something.

That the path they are about to take is not the right one.

We love and continue to pray for them and want only the best for them.

We reach out to others who know them and ask them if they hear from them to have them get in touch with us.

What a relief we feel when they do get back in touch with us.

They realize the stress and concerns they placed on us and are thankful that we were there for them.

That they realize they can handle things in a more positive way.

Thankful that someone was praying for them and still willing to be a part of their lives.

We receive them with open arms.

Deep down in our hearts, rejoicing and thanking God that they were okay, and everything was going to be better.

The parable of the lost sheep tells us of the ability of man to be redeemed from being lost.

It paints a beautiful picture of God, who is love, and is always encouraging His wandering children to come home.

Like a good shepherd, He cares about and seeks out every lost sheep.

Making it known how valuable we are to Him.

Jesus is love and He never stops looking for us.

Even more of a reason, we should not give up on the ones we love.

He has an earnest desire to bring all sinners’ home.

A time to call together all our friends and neighbors to take the time to rejoice.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, Thank You for always looking out for us when we stray. Thank You for all of us having the ability to pray one for another. But most of all, for providing us with a safe place when we return to Your loving arms. Our time for rejoicing.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
