Christ does not want us to make light of sin, but to be cautious against such acts.
That these things are so far from being profitable. That they pollute and poison the hearers.
God’s glory is the cheerfulness we should reflect as one of His own.
Those who allow themselves, either in the lusts of the flesh or the love of the world, belong not to the kingdom of grace, and will not come to the kingdom of glory.
We are to repent and believe the gospel.
Our only way to become children of obedience, from whom God’s wrath is turned away.
We are not to make light of that which brings down the wrath of God.
Praying that the grace of God will make the mighty change we need in our lives.
Making it possible to walk as children of the Light. Filled with knowledge and holiness.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we must have the sight and the knowledge that sin is sin, and in some measure shameful. We must see it as a breach of Your holy law. Help us to not be careless in our walk with You.
