Charity is defined as the generous actions or donations to a person or persons in need. To devote one’s life to giving.
Love is one of the greatest forms of charity one can give.
Jesus is Love.
Peter spoke with passion about love, because he had experienced the deep love of Jesus firsthand.
He had spoken words that denied the Lord. But the Lord never stopped loving him and, in the end, restored him.
There are so many things that are not right in all our lives.
Things, that unless Love covers, Satan will stir up divisions and discords.
This same Love that Peter had in his life, makes it possible for us to live a sin-free life.
To be able to excuse and forgive others.
The nature of a Christian’s work, which is high work and hard work, is all for the goodness of the Master and the excellence of the reward.
It requires that our endeavors should be serious and earnest.
And in all the duties and services of life, we should aim at the glory of God as our chief end.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, the only way to keep our souls well, is, to commit it to You by prayer, and patient perseverance in well-doing. As believers, You will overrule all to the final advantage of those You love and who love You. Thank You Lord for covering our sins.
