There are things in our lives that we wish we could have done differently.
Things that are still haunting us to this day.
None of us are perfect and will have our moments when we second guess ourselves.
We have to get to the point where we leave all those thoughts behind, follow the leading of the Lord and press forward with the things we can do now and going forward.
That’s what Paul was advising the Philippines to do, because he had to learn to do it himself.
To forget the things of the past and to press forward and become more like Christ by following His ways.
When we do all this and follow the leading of Christ, Heaven is our prize.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we don’t always understand why things happen in our lives and how to handle them. But we know that when we give ourselves to you and become more like you Lord, that is the best decision we could ever make. Thank you for calling us and leading us in the right direction.
