But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Romans 8:25 KJV
We will all go through some things, but they will only last for a moment.
It might not seem like it but that is when we must also remember what the Lord has told us.
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
[That] the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:8,9 KJV).
A reminder that His timing does not match the timing that we want it to be.
When we give our lives to Christ, things always change.
Things will not continue as they are.
The Spirit of the Lord restores our desires, encourages our hopes, brings to life, and raises our expectations.
Making them flourish again.
The Lord is always there for us.
We obtain all of this when we have patience even though the way may be long and rough (Romans 8:25 KJV).
All things work together for the good of those who are called of the Lord and live according to the Word.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that as believers there is safety in the Word. It is where we find comfort and hope. We know that patience is what we are to always exhibit. Remembering that You are in control. That all things work together for our good. We love You Father. Thank You helping us live according to Your purpose.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
