Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 KJV
Whatever we put our trust in the world for, the things that we desire, what we receive will only last for a moment.
When we put our trust in God, not only will we find and receive the strength we need..
But He also gives us the things that will carry us to a blessedness that will last forever.
The song by Keith Pringle has lyrics that speak to the “Perfect Peace” God desires for us.
It speaks to how God will keep us in perfect peace if we keep our minds stayed on Him.
That we are to remember that the earth is the Lord’s. All its fullness. The whole world and everything that dwells on it.
Our Heavenly Father made it all. They all belong to Him.
That we should let nothing cause us to feel bound because God has given us everything we need. He has set us free.
The Divine mercies we receive should be an encouragement for us to remain confident in God.
I love this song because it is a confirmation to what the Prophet Isaiah was telling us that “perfect peace” is there for all of us.
That it comes to those who have their minds stayed on the Lord. To the ones who have put their trust in Him (Isaiah 26:3).
God’s promises never change.
He is always there to receive every one of us with open arms.
Keeping us in “Perfect Peace.”
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, all of us, the sinners and the saved, are encouraged to seek You and the guidance You provide. We can always come to You, no matter the day or the hour. You are the only one who can keep us in perfect peace. Peace of our minds, always and in all events. There is nothing too hard for You to handle. You are there with us through the thick and the thin. Our lives would be nothing without You. It is a blessing that we don’t want to take for granted. It gives us so much peace and joy. And these are just some of the blessings we are thankful for. There is so much more. You are always there for us. Taking care of us. We put our trust in You. We know there are more blessings, seen and unseen, to come. Thank You Lord for giving us the peace that passes all understanding.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
