Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto hisbrethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17 KJV
Take a moment, look at yourself in the mirror.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a different person?
We often think about the changes we can make in our bodies by exercise and diet.
We may even change our behavior and the way we think about things.
It is good to take care of our mental and physical needs.
But no matter what we do, we will forever be the unique person that God created us to be.
He already knows what we look like, He designed each of us.
He has put a lot of care and attention in making each of us (Psalms 139:14).
We are unique in our own way, because He has a purpose for each of our lives.
He is more concerned with our inner man.
Concerned about the temptations we face.
That is why when sin was manifesting itself in man, God made the sacrifice of taking on our human nature.
It’s not hard for us to wonder what it was like for Him to personally experience the trials and tribulations of man (Hebrews 2:15).
How even though he had the likeness of man, He was unique in His way, because He was sinless.
Nothing can compare to all that He has done for us.
He lovingly became one of us to pay the penalty for our sins and to conquer death (Hebrews 2:14).
He was making the way for no soul to perish of sin. The desire to be like the world.
Because of His suffering, no matter what we look like, by faith, we can seek pardon, peace, grace and the hope of Heaven.
Remember, you are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalms 139:14).
That you are designed with a purpose, desiring to do everything right.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, You became man and was tempted for our sake. All in an effort that we could be saved from sin and the temptations of this world. For making a way for us to have peace and joy in our lives, with Heaven our final destination. Thank You for giving us a way to live perfectly free from sin.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
