Sincere Thankfulness Will Make You Strong in Faith

Read: Philippians 1:1-7

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Philippians 1:3 KJV

It is always good to have pleasant memories of someone.

To be able to express our appreciation that they are in our lives.

Keeping them in prayer.

It is an even greater comfort for that person to know how we feel.

They appreciate knowing that someone is thankful and praying for them.

That they recognize their efforts to show and share God’s love with others.

We all need to extend favor towards one another.

Giving grace and kindness as a response.

A letter from the Apostle Paul was the opportunity for him to acknowledge the people of Philippi.

Those that were walking in the faith.

Those that he wanted to show what being thankful looked like.

He did it by expressing his thankfulness for them.

To encourage them to walk as becomes the gospel of Christ.

To caution them against those who would have them do things the wrong way.

To hold true to Christianity.

To continue to express gratitude and thanksgiving.

That he was praying, for the excellent work of grace in the people.

There is no peace in our lives where there is no grace.

Every aspect of our peace comes because of His Divine favor.

A favor we are to show to each other.

When I read this, I thought about how each of us can show appreciation.

How showing thankfulness is important.

The Lord has placed so many people in our lives that help us to stay on track.

They help us to be thankful for the things we encounter in life.

We must thank God and give Him the Glory for making all things possible.

His Divine graces are always there for us.

He provides us with the comforts we need.

He blesses us with wonderful gifts.

Ones that we are to share with others.

Showing our thankfulness for all He has done.

The work of grace will never be perfect until the day of the Savior’s return.

Until then, we must continue to show thankfulness in all we do.

Reaping the benefits that the Lord.

The blessings He desires to bestow on all of us for our obedience to the Word.

Let us take a moment to thank and encourage each other.

Praying that we all continue to serve in the mission of God.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we are thankful for all the blessings we receive from the knowledge You have given us. We are thankful for all You have done. Thankful for all You are going to do in our lives. We are going to show our appreciation by how we live. Showing it as we return kindness to each other. Our faith grows the more thankful we are.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
