For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. Colossians 1:16 KJV
We all have the ability to cause something to happen as a result of our actions.
We have creative minds that allow us to bring things to life.
But with any creations or designs, we have to remember who they really originated from.
God is the creator of all things, “for by Him were all things made” (Colossians 1:16).
He has given us the ability to put it all together for our use.
The Lord deserves the credit for it all.
Without Him, nothing would be made or accomplished in our lives.
That is why is so good to hear someone who is being recognized for their achievements give honor to God for it.
They are letting everyone that is listening know who the real credit belongs too.
That it was the Lord that gave them the knowledge and ability to accomplish their goals.
They know that it is really His creation.
He just allows us to make it physical for all to see.
Unfortunately, there is always going to be someone who wants to take all the glory for themselves.
Sin has a way of leading us to do things the wrong way.
For those who think that way, we pray they will one day realize that their abilities were “God-given”.
Not by their own power or might are they accomplishing things.
The Word has told us that it was by God’s power that all things were created.
Created according to His pleasure and for His praise and glory.
That it is by His power we are kept (Colossians 1:16).
We are to give credit where credit is due.
As the Creator of all things, we should be giving God the praise.
While we yet live, and continue to achieve things, we must never stop blessing His name and giving Him praise.
He is the Creator of all things.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, it is no secret that all things were created by You. The things that are created today are ones that You have inspired. You have always made it possible for us to have what we need. Let us remember that You are the Creator of all things and without You nothing is made. Thank You for it all.
