For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 KJV
Workmanship is defined as the degree of skill with which a product is made or a job done.
There are times when something might happen and a product or job is damage or changed.
Resulting in the need to work at fixing the problem or damaged that was done.
We are God’s workmanship.
He has created us in the image of Christ Jesus to do good works (Ephesians 2:10).
We all know that whatever we create we want it to always look good and stay in good condition.
Without the Word all would be “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1).
When we stray from doing that which is good, the Lord sees it and has a desire to fix us.
Giving us a new look on life.
A new life because of the Father’s renovation.
Because there is a renewing of our relationship with the Him.
Our faith, our conversion, and our eternal salvation, are all possible through Him.
His eternal love and goodwill towards all of us, is the foundation of all the mercies He bestows on us.
When we receive Christ, God’s work isn’t over, it has just begun.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, there is nothing like Your workmanship. No one has the ability to create the things You do. We are the greatest show of it. May the things You have done in our lives point others to You. Showing them how we received Christ and how You are providing all the renovations we need in our lives.
