Thankful

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Philippians 1:3 KJV

It is a comfort for someone to know that they are appreciated.

That someone is thankful and praying for them.

That they recognize their efforts to show and share God’s love with others.

A letter from the Apostle Paul was the opportunity for him to acknowledge the people in the faith.

To encourage them to walk as becomes the gospel of Christ and to caution them against Judaizing teachers.

To express gratitude, thanksgivings and prayers, for the good work of grace in the Philippians.

When I read this, I thought about my experience at the drug store.

While I was standing in line, you could tell that the store clerk was blessed.

Her customer service towards those in line before me was great. You could even tell by the way the customers were talking to her that she was appreciated.

When I got to the counter, I told her that I appreciated her, and could tell that she was blessed. She acknowledged that she was.

We must thank God and give Him the Glory, for the graces, comforts, gifts and usefulness of others.

The work of grace will never be perfected till the day of Jesus Christ, the day of His appearance.

Until then, we must continue to show the same thankfulness.

Reaping the benefits that the Lord desires to bestow on all of us for our obedience to the Word.

Let us take a moment to thank and encourage each other to continue to serve in the mission of God.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we are dear to our ministers, when we bless others who serve alongside us. Acknowledging their faith and the joy they have in being a blessing to others. Thank You Lord for all of them and showing us how to thank each other for it.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
