Read: 1 John 4:1-7 KJV

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4 KJV

To describe someone or something as intimidating, we are saying that they can be frightening.

That they can cause any of us to lose confidence in our ability to do some things.

In some cases, intimidation can be a blessing.

It helps to strengthen and build our character.

Satan is always trying to make us lose confidence in what the Lord has told us.

He is the master of deceit, the motivator of things that cause harm, and the teacher of many false things.

With everything he tries to throw at us, we should center our thoughts on what the Lord has said in the Word.

When we remember that the Word has told us who we belong to, we begin to stand up for ourselves and what we know is right.

The Savior came to lead us from the hands of the world to God.

The Spirit of Truth opposing the spirit of error.

We have already beaten evil when we put our faith in the Lord.

“Because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

How wonderful it is to have the power to overcome all evil.

We will not fear because our Father is with us.

We are victorious when we focus on who we are – God’s children.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, when we remember that we are Your children, we can continue to defeat Satan. Nothing that he tries to do is a match to Your Power. Thank You for the Word and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which gives us the protection and power we need. Our faith is in You.
