Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. Psalms 119:68 KJV
When God gives us the chance to fulfill the mission He has for our lives, we need to take it.
He has a plan for our lives, and we must seek Him to understand what it is.
We may stumble at times, but He knows how to deal with any situation we find ourselves in (Psalms 119:65).
The best way for us to learn good judgement and knowledge is to believe in His commandments (v.66).
Asking for forgiveness for all our wrongs and listening to what He tells us.
We are not to let the snares of Satan and the things of this world cause us to stray from His teachings.
They come to help us depend more on God.
To help us see how His teachings are there to make us strong in all the areas of our lives.
He knows what is good for us (v.71).
For all that we go through, and as hard as they sometimes seem, we will be able to say to the Lord that He is good, that He does things good and to continue to teach us. That we desire to learn more about His statutes (v.68).
Everything the Lord does is for our good.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We know Your main purpose is to teach us how to handle anything that comes our way that is not of You. To always remember that because of Your teachings we can embrace life and find comfort in the love You give, even in the times of trouble. We are grateful that You will continue to teach and do great things for us. Thank You Father.
