It was over 2,000 years ago when the Savior was born in a Judean manger, in the city of David.
The angels were heralds of the new-born Savior. They were sent to some shepherds, who were keeping watch over their flock.
God’s good-will to men was manifested in sending the Messiah.
The reason we are to give Him praise, because the result was to bring peace into this lower world.
The shepherds lost no time getting to the place where He was born. They were satisfied, and made known abroad concerning this child, that He was the Savior.
The arrival of the greatest gift to all mankind from God. A gift that was big enough for all mankind to receive.
On this day, when the lights of the Christmas trees are sparkling, and the presents are being opened; let us rejoice in the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Giving a sincere and heartfelt “Thank You” to our merciful and loving God, for giving us the greatest gift we could have received.
Remembering to celebrate this glorious birth not only today, but every day. Praying that someone, all over the world, is being changed by the Savior’s birth too.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Happy Birthday Savior! Thank You God, our Father, for allowing Him to come into our lives, filling us with joy and peace. May we celebrate His birth every day, because He is the gift that should never be forgotten.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
