The Rewards of Witnessing

Read: Acts 4:10-16

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 KJV

Knowledge is something we can all obtain.

It is usually based on how much education a person has or the position they hold.

But it also comes with our experiences.

Our understanding of a subject.

We just have moments when we feel the way we express something will not be received.

But we are placed in those situations for a reason.

The Lord gives us knowledge and places us in situations where we can express what we have learned through Him.

Peter and John were perceived to be unlearned and ignorant men.

They were not.

When it was all said and done, Peter and John were brought before the High priest and Peter spoke with courage and boldness (Acts 4:1-13)

He spoke boldly before the people.

The place where he was thought to be defeated became an arena of victory.

It can for all of us.

God will give us the grace to speak out for Christ.

When we get over our fears, people see our boldness and the rewards of witnessing for the Lord.

They will come to the Lord and be saved.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, let us be like Peter and John. Laying aside all our fears and with boldness proclaiming Your Word. Telling it to all who will listen. Words that lead to a life made holy, heavenly, spiritual, and cheerful. Words that raise them above this world. To an arena of victory.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
