Our path through life is determined by the choices we make.
We all want to make the right one and live a happy, prosperous life.
The Bible provides the best council.
We are told, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” (Proverbs 19:21 NIV).
The Lord is the Head of the body, the church.
“[His] word is a lamp to guide [our] feet and a light for [our] path” (Psalms 119:105 NIV).
Our prayers should be like David’s, asking the Savior to show us the path of life.
Knowing that in His presence there is the fulness of joy.
That at His right hand there are pleasures for evermore (v.11).
God has a plan for each of our lives and in His time He shows it to us.
It is up to us if we will walk in His ways and fulfill the plans He set before us.
When we keep our eyes toward God, the enemy won’t be able to get us off track.
We won’t let anything keep our hearts and tongues from rejoicing in Him.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, let us never forget that You are always there to direct our steps. That through Christ You showed us the path of life, justified our souls and raised us in the last day. You are helping us to get rid of all our earthly sorrows. So that in Your presence we find heavenly joy and everlasting happiness. We are thankful that we are listening and keeping our trust in You.
