I woke up this morning and this song was ringing in my heart, my mind, my ears.
The lyrics reminded me to rejoice and give thanks for the gift of life that God has given us.
That we should rejoice in every hour, every day, every week, every month and every year God has blessed us.
Rejoice because this is the week the devil is defeated.
The Word of God is our guard and our shield.
No matter what the devil tries to bring our way, it will not be successful.
This is the month we should be singing songs of praise because the Lord has the victory.
Nothing but happiness is what we should be showing because of His success.
The last verse tells of the coming of Christ in His Kingdom.
That this “could be” the year that Jesus will appear.
The Lord has told us, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36)
And that we should, “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 25:13)
We should be structuring our days to live accordingly, because we never know this could be the day when the Lord shall return.
This is the day the the Lord has made.
Rejoice and be glad in it.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, this is another day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Knowing that whatever the devil tries to bring our way, it is already defeated and will not be successful. Thank You for keeping us and preparing a place for us to have joy everlasting. Selah.
