This is the Time to Declare Your Wonderful Anchor

Today’s Reading: Psalms 62:1-7

Today’s Verse: “He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.” Psalms 62:6 KJV

“I got your back!”

A phrase that means someone is on your side. They promise full support. They also promise protection. They are loyal no matter what.

It is a strong message. It reassures family, friends, or teammates that they will not face their battles alone.

It is always good to know that we have someone that will be there for us.

During our Spiritual Walk, this reassurance comes from knowing the promises of God.

Like David, we must acknowledge our unwavering spiritual security.

Demonstrating that we trust God entirely. That He will give us the power to withstand life’s trials and attacks.

David had great confidence in God.

He called Him his rock. He knew God was a firm, unmoving foundation in His times of trouble.

His salvation represented deliverance. The ultimate rescue from all danger.

He knew that God was protecting Him. That he had safe refuge from his enemies. That they could not breach the safety of God’s walls.

David’s faith in God advanced to an unshaken steadfastness. This caused his joy in God to improve into a holy triumph.

To this day, Jesus is our Righteous Rock. He is the Rock of Salvation. He is the Captain of every nation.

He is always there to guide our footsteps. To wipe away all of our tears. Rest in His Word when you get tired. His encouragement is always on time.

It is good to wait upon the Lord. Changing our souls to have constant dependence upon Him.

Meditation and prayer strengthen faith and hope. Emotional and spiritual stability will always be ours when we trust in the unchanging provisions that God provides.

Decide to ground your life in God. To never let your circumstances, people, and wealth cause us stress.

God has our back! He is our Rock, our Sword, and Shield.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, You alone are our rock and our salvation. When the world feels unstable and our hearts are anxious, help us to anchor our souls in You. You will always be our fortress. Because of Your never-ending presence, we will not be shaken. Strengthen our faith, Lord. Help us to stand firm in Your peace. Help us to stand firm in Your Word today. You are our Rock, our Sword, and our Shield. Thank You!

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
