Many people define success by a person’s wealth and fame. But no one can have real success if they have not put their trust in God. He takes note of who we are and blesses us.
The psalmist expresses his affection to this decree and his desire to enter into solemn covenants with the Lord.
He knew that real success and happiness would come only if he trusted in the Lord.
The same holds true for us. Our real success and happiness comes when we put our trust in the Lord, no matter our status in life.
Sometimes our days may be filled with darkness, but the Lord is the Sun that enlightens, enlivens, guides and directs us.
Let us take care to walk uprightly, and let our trust in God give us every thing that is good for our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, though we are not promised riches and high ranks in this lifetime, we are promised grace and glory if we seek You and live according to Your way. Living in the knowledge, love, and service of God. Desiring complete happiness, being Heaven bound. Our real success comes through You Lord.
