Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 KJV
Support is something we all will need in this lifetime.
Some of the burdens we face can be overwhelming.
Some of us have habits that are hard to break.
There will be times when our loved one or someone we trust is not around.
There will be times when we feel like they may not understand what we are going through.
We all know that those we love and care about, love and care about us too, but we can’t always be there for one another.
It’s not that we don’t want to help each other, we just can’t always be there.
It is good that we can take comfort in knowing that the Lord has told us to, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 KJV).
He is always there in our times of need.
We just must go to Him.
When we do, our ability to lean more on Him grows stronger.
We experience a wholeness that comes from directing our dependency more towards Him.
Any weakness or feelings that bring us down lose their strength when we lean on the Lord for strength and guidance.
So, let us come to Him daily, for deliverance from wrath and guilt, from sin and Satan, from all our cares, fears, and sorrows that try to surface in our lives.
He has told us to “Come!”
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, our greatest security is found in You. We can come to You in our times of need. You are faithful and just when You respond. We thank You for always being there for us and allowing us to cast all our burdens on You. We appreciate all that You do for us.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
