A Life Without Trouble

Read: Job 42:1-6

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. Job 42:2 KJV

Troubles can come at us from every side.

They can cause us to cry.

We can even have sleepless nights.

I am so glad to know that it won’t last always.

Jesus never promised us that we would lead a trouble-free life.

We all will have our share of them.

In the end, that is what Job learned.

He eventually realized that God accomplished His purposes in ways we don’t really understand.

That He keeps every promise that He made to us.

That He does it no matter how much we think He is not aware of our sufferings.

No situation is too difficult for God.

Just like Job, we must be willing to let God be God.

Or as the song says, “let go and let God.”

We must humbly submit ourselves to and trust in Him.

After all, He is the God of all creation.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know our understanding is enlightened by the Spirit of grace. That the troubles we may face are only for a moment. That is why we humbly submit and pray that Your mercy and kindness will help us to let go of our fears, worries and doubts. Knowing that You have everything under Your control. Remembering that You will direct our paths. We must let go of any lingering doubts and submit our lives to You and only You. When we do, our lives become whole.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
