Always with Us

Read: Matthew 28:16-28

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20 KJV

There have been times when we all have felt alone.

When the way is dark and lonesome, no matter where we are, the Lord is always with us.

He is always there through the good and the bad.

In this reading, the Lord knew He would be leaving soon.

Therefore, He was encouraging the apostles and ministers to go forth among all nations, preaching the benefits of salvation to everyone.

He knew they would feel like a lot was being put on them because He was not there physically.

As humans we have our weaknesses.

But when God gives us a task, you can be sure He is with us.

He consoled them by letting them know He would still be with them in the person of the Holy Spirit.

That He would still be with them in preaching, teaching, living, and witnessing to everyone.

The same holds true to this day.

We are not alone, when it comes to spreading the Word.

Letting all who will listen, that Christianity is the way a sinner can ask for salvation.

No longer being a child of wrath, but one of God’s children.

Remembering that His is teaching us to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded of us.

The fact that He is with us always, even unto the end of the world.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, there is no day, no hour of the day, in which You are not present. You have atoned us from sin, sanctified us and we give You all the honor and praise. As we spread the Word, let Your face shine upon us, that Your way may be known. That Your salvation can be received among all the nations. That ss we walk this Christian pathway; we will always remember that You are always with us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
