All Things From, Through and To Him

Read: Romans 11:33-36

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Romans 11:36 KJV

In these troubling times, we tend to see only the bad things that are happening.

Grant it, we do need to know what is going on in the world, but we are not to dwell on those that are negative.

There are many things we will never understand and wonder why they happen.

We are to pray about them and let God with all His wisdom and knowledge take care of it all. In the end, bringing light to the situations we face.

It may not happen in the timeframe we would like it to or how we would like to see things end, but God knows and is handling it according to His will.

The Apostle Paul knew about the mysteries of the Kingdom of God and even confessed that he was sometimes at a loss when it came to understanding some things.

He had to sit back and think about things before they got worse.

It was like he was on the edge at the top of a steep cliff, if he moved to fast he would lose his balance and the outcome would be bad.

Bad if he let the ways of the world control his life.

Instead, he humbled himself and sought Divine counsel.

A counsel that is rich and has an abundance of that which is precious and valuable to our lives.

Divine counsel is always complete. In Heaven and on Earth.

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things” (v,36).

Especially those which relate to our salvation and peace.

To Him be the glory forever (v.36).

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we spend too much time thinking about what is wrong and broken in this world. We forget that all things were created by You. That they happen according to Your will. Please help us to remember that Your Divine counsel is what we need. Prayer is the key. Our faith in You leads to our salvation and peace. To You be the glory forever. For from You and through You are all things. Thank You Savior.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
