Don’t Faint, Keep Praying

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Luke 18:1 KJV

There have been times when we all have felt that what we say to someone is going in one ear and out the other.

That they are not truly listening to what we are saying.

So we give up on talking with them.

The same holds true with our prayer lives.

All God’s people are to be praying people.

He wants us to come into His presence with all our questions and concerns.

Once we have done it, we must wait patiently before His throne for the answer.

We all have a calling to come before Him with thanksgiving and wait on His promise.

Because the world presents so many things to us in a quick manner, we sometimes feel that God should give it to us even quicker.

But good, God-sent blessings take time.

So when we feel like God is not answering our prayers, remember that He is always working on our behalf.

When we have prayed, we must keep our eyes open to see Him work and our ears attuned to hear His voice.

Faint not, but pray and learn to trust that He is answering our prayers.

Because He is.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we know that spiritual mercies are received when we stay steadfast in our prayers. It can be hard to do at times. Let us wait patiently on Your answer and not faint. And while we are waiting, let our prayers continue to be according to Your will.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
