Our mindset has a big influence on our lives.
It is responsible in how we think, feel and behave in any given situation.
As Christians we should be choosing to keep our mindset right. Focused on what the Lord has in store for our lives.
Knowing that the choice we make will have the ability to weaken and decrease our affection to the things of the world.
Our best choice is to receive Christ and be born again.
To follow the Lord and His teachings.
Teaching that breaks sin’s control over our lives.
The power of the Holy Spirit is putting to death the lusts of the flesh and earthly things.
Sin’s power is being gradually cast out by the operation of grace and finished off by the perfection of glory.
All of this resulting in our desire for those things that are heavenly.
God will give us the victory over sin, when we are willing to be dead to it and obedient to the Word.
All of us must choose between whether we want to reap the benefits of Heaven or of the Earth.
To appear with Him in Heaven should be our choice and our goal.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, help us to keep our mindset right. You live in every believer by Your Spirit. Let us be one of those believers who live according to Your Word and be one of them that gets to appear with You in glory.
