Calendars are charts or a series of pages showing the days, weeks, and months of the year.
We use them to remember the appointments we have made, birthdays, holidays and other things of importance.
We all should have a Spiritual Calendar.
One that has an appointment set to spend time with the Lord every day written in it.
Not an appointment to be cancelled because we decide to put other things before Him.
Our time with the Lord should be more like a holiday or birthday.
One that has a set date that never changes no matter the circumstance.
The difference being, we will be celebrating Him every day of the year, not just one day or whenever we feel we can fit Him into our busy schedule.
Let us not neglect to give Him the time He deserves.
We can do this by singing songs of praise for the day to day salvation the Lord has given us.
It is not hard to set aside time every day to talk to Him and thank Him for His loving power and majesty.
It is time well spent to make our worship of Him something we do each and every day.
Each new day gives us new reasons to pray, sing praises to His name and proclaim His love.
It is time well spent.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, each new day gives us a reason to sing praises to Your name. Worship, praise and adoration we freely give to You. Thank You for helping us with our daily duties.
