We have all been faced with situations that are frustrating.
Situations that make it hard to maintain a good demeanor. We let our pride get in the way.
Pride was the reigning sin of the Pharisees.
It was the sin that our Lord Jesus takes every occasion to speak against.
We are not to behave in a way that belittles or degrades someone else in any way.
This type of behavior results in us thinking more highly of ourselves to the point it causes us to sin.
There is nothing between sinners and eternal happiness, but a proud, unbelieving, and unwilling spirit.
We are to humble ourselves, adhere to the Word and be exalted.
Being placed at a higher, more powerful level and a state of extreme happiness.
We serve Him best when we swallow our pride and live by the Word.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, there is nothing between us and eternal happiness, but sin, a proud heart, our unbelief, and unwillingness to adhere to the Word. Let us lose this way of life, humble ourselves and come to You. To be placed in a higher and more powerful state of extreme happiness.
